How to Look Up & Download Your Louisiana Bar Card

(Responsible Vendor Permit – via the Louisiana ATC website)

If you’ve completed your Responsible Vendor (RV) training in Louisiana, you can verify your status and download your official Louisiana Bar Card directly from the Alcohol & Tobacco Control (ATC) site.

Open the Louisiana ATC Website Email LIQUORexam Support

Step 1 — Go to the Louisiana ATC website

Navigate to the ATC home page, then proceed to the Responsible Vendor section.

Step 2 — Open “Responsible Vendor Information”

From the top menu, hover Responsible Vendor and click Responsible Vendor Information.

Step 3 — Click “Click here to print Responsible Vendor Bar Card”

On the Responsible Vendor Information page, scroll until you see the link labeled Click here to print Responsible Vendor Bar Card.

Look for the “print Bar Card” link in the list of resources.

Step 4 — Enter your search details

On the search screen, enter your:

  • Last Name
  • Last 4 digits of your SSN
  • Date of Birth in MM/DD/YYYY format

Step 5 — View your record

Click Search. If your information matches the ATC’s records, your Bar Card record will appear with a Download License link.

Step 6 — Download your Bar Card (PDF)

Click Download License to save a PDF copy of your Responsible Vendor Certificate/Bar Card.

Tip: Keep a digital copy on your phone and print a paper copy for your employer.

Troubleshooting & FAQs

  • Recently trained? Allow your provider time to report to ATC (processing can take 1–2 business days after submission).
  • Can’t find your record? Double-check your last name spelling, DOB, and the last 4 of SSN. Try known name variations (e.g., with/without suffix).
  • Need a temporary proof? You may use your provider’s Certificate of Completion until your Bar Card is available.
  • Still no luck? Email your training provider so they can verify reporting and follow up with the ATC if needed.
