How to Get Your South Carolina Alcohol Server Certification

If you plan to serve alcohol in South Carolina, you are required to complete training through a state-approved provider. This guide walks you through the full process from start to finish.
Step 1: Enroll in Approved Training
Enroll in the approved course through LIQUORexam.com.
Training is 100% online and self-paced.
Step 2: Complete the Course and Exam
The final exam is taken directly within the course.

- Screen monitoring required
No downloads required.
Step 3: Training is Reported to the State
Your training is automatically reported after passing.
The SCDOR system retrieves records daily around 7 PM.
Step 4: Print Your Official Certificate
Once on the SCDOR site, click the "Download Your Certificate" button:
This will take you to the search page below:
Enter your Certificate ID and your name exactly as shown in your account.
- Certificate ID (Starts with LEC00)
- First Name
- Last Name
Important Reminder
Your official certificate is issued through the state system, not directly from the training provider.
