This program is easy to follow and has been designed to help you learn the ropes of becoming a responsible alcohol server and/or seller. Upon completion of this course, you will be provided with a multiple-choice test. Once you receive a passing score, you will be awarded your certificate of completion which you can print directly from your online account.

This Alcohol Server/Seller Training program has been developed by industry professionals who have encompassed all aspects of alcohol service in the material. STATE SPECIFIC INFORMATION

Arkansas doesn’t require alcohol service training.  However, it’s a voluntary state that allows mitigating administrative penalties or fines for a permittee or employee’s violation of state laws and regulations relating to the sale of alcoholic beverages. The "Responsible Permittee Program” is designed to encourage permittees and their employees to treat the sale and service of alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner. A permittee who seeks to qualify under the Responsible Permittee Program must provide to the Board evidence of compliance with the requirements. Upon satisfactory proof that the permittee or his employees have complied with the requirements, the Board shall certify the permittee under the Responsible Permittee Program. In order to qualify for certification, the permittee mush comply with the following requirements: 

• Attend a course of instruction approved and certified by the Board
• Require each employee who is authorized to sell alcoholic beverages in the normal course of his or her employment to complete the responsible permittee training course within 30 days of employment
• Maintain employment records of the training of its employees 

Certification as a responsible permittee may be renewed annually. The Board may revoke or suspend a permittee’s certification for non-compliance. This responsible alcohol seller/server training course meets the state requirements set by the Alcohol Beverage Control Division but is not an approved training provider as of 09/2019. After successful completion of this course you will immediately be issued a certificate of completion which you may print or download as a PDF document.

Alcohol Seller/Server Training is not mandatory in Arkansas.
