To legally serve alcohol on-premises in Washington, you must hold one of the following:
Class 12 – Age 21+
Allows you to draw alcohol from taps, mix drinks, manage the establishment, conduct tastings, and perform all duties permitted under a Class 13 permit.
Class 13 – Age 18–20
Allows you to take alcohol orders and serve drinks to customers at their tables (no mixing or drawing from taps).

WSLCB has certified the MAST course based on WAC 314-17. Any other content on this page that is not part of the MAST course may not be certified by WSLCB.
